1. Be kind and discuss in good faith
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, shame, impersonate, or target people. Disagreement about books is welcome; abuse of readers and creators is not.
2. Keep harmful material out
Do not post sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, graphic violence intended to shock, instructions for serious wrongdoing, hate speech, or praise for extremist violence.
3. Protect young people
Never sexualise minors, solicit private contact from them, or share content that exploits or endangers a child. Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the appropriate authorities.
4. Respect privacy and ownership
Do not expose private information, publish private messages without permission, infringe copyright, plagiarise work, or upload books and artwork you do not have the right to share.
5. No manipulation or spam
Do not use deceptive engagement, coordinated harassment, scams, malware, repetitive promotion, artificial interactions, or misleading identities.
6. Use spoilers responsibly
Use the available spoiler controls for meaningful plot details and honour book-club chapter boundaries.
7. Reporting, blocking, and enforcement
Use Report on a post, comment, profile, or conversation to send it for review. Block or mute anyone you do not want to interact with. QuillTide may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or permanently remove accounts when necessary for safety or repeated violations.
8. Appeals and urgent help
For moderation questions or an appeal, email [email protected] with the account handle and relevant report details, but do not send passwords or private manuscripts. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
