QuillTide began with a simple, slightly unreasonable idea: writing, planning, reading, designing, organising, and publishing tools should be able to live together without turning a writer's work into material for AI.
I'm building the kind of place I wanted to see exist—somewhere writers can write, readers can read, and the software helps without trying to become the author.
MADE BY A HUMAN
QuillTide is created and maintained by a solo independent developer—not a large software company or a venture-backed team.
That independence makes room for careful decisions, creative freedom, honest communication, and a direct connection with the writers and readers who use the app. QuillTide grows through development, experiments, feedback, and an ever-expanding list of ideas.
Being a solo project is part of its character: focused, personal, transparent, and made with genuine care.
Every part of QuillTide starts with the real work of writing, reading, making, and bringing a book into the world.
QuillTide uses no AI. Your words, artwork, judgement, and imagination remain entirely yours.
